Vegetables NZ and Woolworths improve levy collection process

Vegetables NZ has been working with Woolworths to improve levy collection on crops managed under the Fresh Vegetables Commodity Levy.

The new approach will see Vegetable NZ, under the privacy of a Woolworths' list, invoice growers directly each month for the amount of levy due according to the levy rate ($0.30/$100).

Woolworths supports this more transparent approach, where management lies with the group responsible for the action – in this case, the levy.

Vegetables NZ is about to commission a new Customer Management System called the Grower Hub Portal. This Portal will give growers access to their account and levy buyer created invoices.
