Breeze Add One More Vegetable radio campaign's underway

13 May 2024 has teamed up with the Breeze and 5+ A Day to promote vegetables over the next month, as part of the Add One More Vegetable initiative. 

'The radio campaign comprises ads as well as a "Break the Basket" competition, where listeners call in after 3pm on a week day to fill a basket with as many vegetables as possible, before the basket breaks. All contestants then go into a draw to win $200 worth of grocery vouchers,' says Vegetables NZ stakeholder engagement and communications manager, Andrew Bristol. 

'The campaign is aimed at household shoppers with children between the ages of zero and 17. It is supported by social media and website activity, by both the Breeze and 5+ A Day.'  

Andrew says this is the first time in several years that has undertaken promotion that directly targets consumers. 

'We felt that the Add One More Vegetable initiative - being right in so many ways - demanded greater exposure through promotion aimed at household shoppers. We will be monitoring how the Breeze promotion goes with a view to what does in the future.'
