2026 Vegetables NZ AGM & Political Debate | notice of meeting, & call for nominations & remits

The 2026 Vegetables NZ Annual General Meeting (AGM) is being held on Friday 25 September at 5pm at the Pukekohe Golf Club. The AGM will be followed at 6pm by a Pre-Election Political Debate, involving representatives of all the major parties. The debate is being hosted by NZVeg, Potatoes NZ and the Pukekohe Vegetable Growers Association.

Board nominations
Vegetables NZ Board Directors are elected by registered members of Vegetables NZ. Any member of Vegetables NZ is eligible to nominate, second a nomination, or be nominated for the position of Director.
All nominations must be seconded by a member of Vegetables NZ. Nominations must also be signed by the nominee to confirm that they are willing to stand.
There are currently two vacancies on the Vegetables NZ Board. If more than two nominations are received, registered members of Vegetables NZ will be asked to vote.

When do nominations close?
Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 28 August, which is 28 days before the AGM.
Where do I send nominations?
Completed nomination forms should be returned to Vegetables NZ, either by emailing: andrew.bristol@nzveg.co.nz or by post: Andrew Bristol, Vegetables NZ, PO Box 10232, Wellington 6140.

Remits
Vegetable NZ members are invited to submit remits for the 2026 AGM.
Remits must be received in writing by Friday 28 August, which is 28 days before the 2026 AGM.
